Licensed and Insured
I am licensed by Consumer Protection BC as per BC Government legislation (2009) and fully insured including error, omissions and commercial general liability. Proudly serving greater Victoria to the North island, Nanaimo, Ladysmith, Chemainus, Victoria, Campbell River, Courtenay, Comox, Parksville, Qualicum, Duncan, Port Alberni, Tofino and the surrounding areas since 2008. Born in Victoria, growing up in Nanaimo, I am extremely familiar with the intimate details of our Vancouver Island communities.
I am a Red-Seal Construction Craft Worker (K48102879) and I currently provide residential and civil construction services to non-inspection clients. My background in the construction industry is very broad. Including, working with the management team in the construction and operational phase at The Home Depot to underground industrial construction projects in the Mining industry.
My trade requires shoulder to shoulder work with Carpenters, Electricians, Plumbers, Masons, Engineers, Surveyors, , Iron workers, Heavy Equipment Operators and other construction trades. My construction experience includes everything from excavation to final construction. I have Construction foreman experience and have successfully completed many construction projects on Vancouver Island. I am currently a proud member of the Construction and Specialized Workers Union 1611 (LiUNA!). Complimenting my career in home inspections, I actively provide construction craft work to contractors on Vancouver Island. It is in your best interest to hire a licensed home inspector who is an inter-provincial Red Seal in the construction trade industry.
In 2001, focusing on defect recognition, I worked on an ISO 9001 (International organization for standardization) task force to implement a Quality Management System for the Pulp and Paper industry. In 1999, I took ‘general trades flexibility’ training at the North Island College. Extensive knowledge in the technical computer industry will allow me to offer ‘state of the art’ inspection reports to my clients. Post high school, I spent 3 years serving in the Canadian Armed Forces Infantry reserves, developing ‘discipline’ and a keen sense of ‘paying attention to details’.
Commitment to QualityWith the best training and tools provided by the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), WETT Inc and Carson Dunlop Consulting Engineers, I bring quality and satisfaction to the job everyday. I have a committed outlook, offering a gold-class service, guaranteed or my services are free. My priority is your safety and comfort. I will always go the extra mile to ensure your best interest is taken care of.
