After being totally stressed out in trying to find a home in the hot Vancouver Island housing market, we were really nervous about making such a huge decision without having a qualified home inspector help guide us in our decision. The inspection was done very thoroughly and the pictures taken are excellent. This report could be put straight into the hands of a contractor to indicate work that needed to be done, or provide a guide to the do-it-yourselfer. As this inspection was part of a house sale, the comprehensive report allowed us to identify areas of normal wear-and-tear to be monitored, and other items that were not up to standard that required work. Quick, efficient, and easy to deal with.

I highly recommend Apple Home Inspections. Mark's attention to detail is out matched in the industry, and his use of infrared technology is, in my opinion, a minimum standard for home inspections. If you are considering a home inspector and the do not use that technology, think again, and then choose Apple!

We were worried that an inspector might not be worth the money, but you were worth every penny. You did a very through job and explained everything as we went through and around the house. We hired Mark to inspect our potential house in Port Alberni. On the day of the inspection there was a 6 inch snow layer on the roof and he could only have a limited look at the roof. He immediately offered to inspect the roof at a later stage. The home inspection was very thorough and he spend 4 1/2 hours in the house explaining the things he noted. Although the house did not have a single serious issue, his report helped us to asses the total costs of what needed to corrected before we bought it and allowed us to get a good price for the house. The report was outstanding and he later inspected the roof with the same thoroughness. His price was at the same or similar level of many other inspectors and we feel that we got a great service.

We recently had Mark conduct a home inspection on a house we may purchase. Mark was out promptly and on time. He conducted a very thorough inspection and went over every detail with us and our realtor. I am very pleased with his work and he took around 300 pictures of every tiny thing he saw. Very good work and a very pleasant person to deal with I would Definitely recommend Mark and will use him on my next home purchase or sale of my existing home to have a pre-inspection for the home buyer.
